Job Description

IMKO Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Warehouse Shipping Associate to join a local Sioux Falls company. The Warehouse Shipping Associate is responsible for assisting the warehouse management team with the shipping of merchandise to be palletized and shipped by truck to other warehouse locations by pulling orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate Order Picker to assemble products and boxes onto pallets for processing using specialized equipment
  • Stock and re-stock inventory & help consolidate merchandise pallets
  • Handle shipping & receiving of LTL, full truck loads, or containers of merchandise as needed
  • Receive incoming inventory items using company receiving records & stock inventory in proper locations
  • Wrap & weigh pallets before loading & pack less-than-case products for delivery or on miscellaneous table
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior Warehouse experience beneficial
  • Must be Forklift certified or have the ability to become certified by the company
  • Ability to perform work independently while being a member of a goal-oriented team
  • Ability to work under time constraints to meet productivity, accuracy, & service-related standards
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities & projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail to ensure a high degree of order accuracy
  • Must be able to continually lift, grasp, & use force with hands
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, 25 lbs. on a continual basis, and 65 lbs. occasionally
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift and have the ability to bend, lift, squat, twist, turn, and reach positions on a continual basis

This is a day-shift position working Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and pays $17.00 per hour. Apply today to discuss and learn more!
