Job Description

IMKO Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to fill a opening with a Family Owed  Wire Recycling Plant located in Kansas City, MO

Monday-Friday6:30am -3:00pm 
Weekly Pay18/Hr

This position will be responsible for reporting to and receiving direction from the Plant or Yard Manager,
depending on work assignment in facility. The position will ensure the company goals and objectives are
achieved, including safety, productivity, quality control, customer service, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:

1. Sorting and inspecting raw material, (scrap wire and cable) and removing contaminates in an
outdoor environment.
2. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe plant, by sweeping floors, blowing down machinery,
shoveling, etc.
3. Machine operator on production line while standing for extended periods of time.
4. Show great attention to detail while sorting various recyclable metals.
5. Attend safety meetings and promote safe behavior throughout the company.
6. Help maintain superior quality control of finished product.
7. Attend all scheduled corporate training and meetings.
8. Perform limited maintenance on all equipment
9. All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge required:
• Safe and proficient forklift operator
• Mechanical aptitude-knowledge of hand tools, etc. to perform basic maintenance
• Familiarity/experience in an industrial production environment

Skills required:
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and policy
• Ability to adapt to constant changing situations-(moving from one assignment to another).
• Excellent presence and work ethic

Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Exposure may involve lifting of
materials and product up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to
include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, safety vest, hearing protectors, and steel toed work boots, with
metal sole liners. As in most manufacturing jobs, the environment will be loud and dirty. Subject to regular
bending, twisting, reaching, working overhead, and working above ground and/or on irregular surfaces.
