Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality initiatives within a railcar welding and fabrication shop. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical welding knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides management and leadership to facility QA Team Members
Integrates quality functions into a multi-discipline work environment
Plan and assign duties to QA Team Members to verify a quality product is delivered to the
customer on a consistent, repeatable basis.
Quality decisions are guided by adherence to the Quality Program and customer specification.
Holds subordinates accountable for budgets, schedules, performance standards
Responsible for the activities at assigned facility and capable of supporting the Quality program
at multiple operating facilities as needed.
Establishes and integrates organization operational objectives and assignments for delivery of a
quality product.
Manages and executes The Quality Program for assigned location to ensure delivery of a quality
product to customers.
Responsible for executing facility level Quality Program and customer specification training for
new and existing Team Members
Job Qualifications
HS diploma or GED required, advanced education beyond High School preferred.
Ongoing training combining both online and offsite resources will be required
3+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; experience supervising railcar
repairmen preferred.
