Duties/Responsibilities
• Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, research testing
methods and conferring with equipment vendors.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space
requirements, and equipment layout.
• Assures product and processes quality by designing testing methods.
• Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor,
material costs.
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
information and trends.
• Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Strategizing the development process, including raw materials and machinery.
• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
• Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
• All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional
teams and departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to help across multiple departments.
• Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees.
• Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Must be able to type, sit for long periods of time
• Advance computer skills and software management experience.
Desired Skills
• 2-3 years of experience of engineering experience.
