Job Description
Hey you! Are you looking for a part time assembly job?
Shift & pay: 9am-230pm Pay: $16.25/hr.
$1/hr. Attendance bonus. MUST show up on time & work the full shift
The Team Technician performs repetitive assembly-type operations on a variety of work stations, machines and production lines. The Team Technician has the responsibility & authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process & quality system.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
HS Diploma or equivalent preferred BUT not required.
Ability to work with small hand tools, power tools, fixtures & associated equipment
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost & other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
6 months of experience working in a manufacturing setting desired but not required.
Must be able to rotate throughout production cells
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Must be flexible and willing to be a team player.
Duties & responsibilities:
Works on a production line as a member of an Assembly team.
Meets production and quality standards (individual and line)
Rotates to a different workstation or production line or a regular basis for training purposes, to meet production requirements, or to reduce fatigue
Positions component parts into assembly fixtures, loads, & unloads previously set up machines to perform various operations on the assembly line
Verify parts supplied to the line are correct prior to beginning the assembly process.
Verify correct fixture set up prior to beginning assembly process
Utilizes written or verbal job instructions to accomplish assembly operations of varying degrees of complexity
Makes required visual inspections in conjunctions with quality checks designed for each operation
Responsible for keeping work area safe, neat and orderly as to facilitate efficient work performance while maintaining safe work environment
Run QA check machine online as requested
Report abnormal conditions to appropriate personnel
Confirm & abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures & instructions
Conform & abide by company Handbook
Other duties assigned.
Abilities & work conditions:
The ability to perform daily warm up stretching exercises.
The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your 2 hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects
The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms & legs.
The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, pull, push, or carry objects
The ability to use your ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time - This involves muscular endurance and resistance to muscle fatigue.
The ability to use short bursts of muscle force to propel oneself, or to throw an object.
The ability to coordinate two or more libs while standing, sitting or lying down. It does not involve performing the activities while the whole body is in motion.
The ability to exert yourself physically over long periods without being winded or out of breath.
The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
The ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist or reach out with your body, arms & legs.
Ability to work in very hot & humid conditions
Ability to work in cold conditions if the dock doors are open.
