Job Summary:
The Facility Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and special project support for industrial equipment and facility systems. This role supports both manufacturing and support teams to ensure minimal downtime and a safe working environment.

The Facility Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and special project support for industrial equipment and facility systems. This role supports both manufacturing and support teams to ensure minimal downtime and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet company goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE in designated areas.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and inspections.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Use PC-based maintenance management systems to log and track work.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Respond quickly to production-down situations to reduce downtime.
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct welding and metal fabrication as needed.
- Provide training to peers on equipment operation and maintenance techniques.
- Perform basic electrical work in compliance with State Electrical Code, in coordination with the facility electrician.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve facility and equipment issues.
- Be available for call-ins, overtime, and rotating 7-day shift schedules when required.
- Conduct preventative maintenance during alternate shifts when needed to avoid production disruption.
- Strong electrical aptitude preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Systems, or SCADA preferred.
- Must be able to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50–70 lbs. as needed.
- Work may involve exposure to high temperatures (90+ degrees), seasonal elements, noise, dust, and odors.
- Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, push, pull, and twist frequently throughout the shift.
- Must maintain high energy and consistent attendance.
