IMKO and our Siouxland Client are hiring Lab Techs Our Client is willing to TRAIN this position!  The Lab Technician position is a full-time opportunity to learn hands-on in the areas of product testing, research & development, and food safety consultation. The core capabilities include microbiological, chemical, and physical testing.This position is in a scientific lab environment.  The Lab Tech positions support other lab employees in the lab.  This position does require keeping a sterile environment.   Lab Techs will set up and trouble shoot equipment for accurate results. Lab Tech duties are, however not limited to:  
  • Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
  • Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
  • Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
  • Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
  • Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with Supervision.
  • Maintains and verifies equipment.
What you will make as a Lab Tech 
Starting pay as Follows:  4 year degree FT-$18/hr2 year degree FT- $17/hrNo degree FT- $16/hrPart-Time- $15/hr These are Full time and Part Time openings,  11am- 7:30 pm OT as neededDays will be set at interview with the clientQualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience (Preferred)
  • Must be reliable and work well in a team environment
  • Training will be provided and can accommodate student schedules
