Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a family owed recycling company.
Location: Kansas City, MO
-Responsible for working with the plant manager in the support and maintenance of the production
equipment & staff. Position will perform preventative and corrective maintenance daily,
troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical equipment and systems in our wire recycling plant.
Responsibilities include, not limited to:
• Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment--daily maintenance on granulator
machines
• Documentation of maintenance schedules and work performed
• Participate in special plant projects
• Anticipate production needs
• This position may be required to perform stand-by duties
• Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge:
• Mechanical systems, i.e. gearboxes, gears, chains, sprockets,
• Bearings
• Lubrication & lubrication systems
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics,
• Industrial electrical, i.e. 480, 220, 110 volt systems, motor controls, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude
Skills Required:
• Journey-level experience
• Willing cooperative attitude
• Team player
• Troubleshooting skills
• Oral communication skills
• Knowledge of all safety practices related to the industry
• Organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Current MVR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Experience:
• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
