IMKO is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire position with a client in Columbia, MO.The client provides laundry services to healthcare facilities throughout the area.Shift: 40 hours/week. 4:00am-12:30pm OR 8:00am-4:30pm. Must be able to work Saturdays.     Pay: $18-$20/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
  • Helps to maintain equipment such as: boilers, compressors, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and request
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation 
  • Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts
  • Determines change in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring carious orders
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have previous experience in industrial maintenance, electrical and/or HVAC
  • Must be reliable and self motivated 
  • Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment 
  • In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
  • Familiar with safety standards and regulations
