Job Description

Automation Technician – 1st Shift Full-Time Manufacturing
We’re hiring an Automation Technician to support and maintain our automated systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy working hands-on with robotics, PLCs, and high-tech equipment, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Maintain and repair automation equipment (robotic welders, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly

  • Assist with the design and setup of new automated systems

  • Program and configure robots (Fanuc, Motoman) and PLCs

  • Read and interpret schematics and technical documents

  • Collaborate with engineers and contractors on new installations

  • Create and update system documentation and SOPs

  • Ensure safety and efficiency in all work performed



What We’re Looking For:
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field

  • Experience with PLC programming, robotics, and automation systems

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with Fanuc/Motoman robots and HMI systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a production environment
