Job Description
3rd Shift Opportunity - HIRING NOW!Job Summary:
* Set up and operate complex automated equipment for label inspection and slitting* Perform tasks with high attention to detail and quality* Maintain a safe and efficient work environment* Collaborate with team members and management to achieve production goals
3rd shift 4:30pm-3:30amMonday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and validate equipment for production runs* Load labels, press rolls, and other materials into equipment* Inspect and remove defects according to customer specifications* Prepare packaging materials and finish product for shipping* Operate manual pallet lifts and other lifting equipment as needed* Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment* Complete documentation and track job progress* Perform tasks assigned by others in a diverse work environment* Follow cGMP policy and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality and safety
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Good mechanical aptitude and skills* Basic math skills* Ability to read and interpret documents* Troubleshooting skills* Strong work ethic and good attitude towards work* Honesty, reliability, and teamwork skills* Safety consciousness and compliance with OSHA rules and regulations
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required* 6 months or more experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
* Regularly use hands to handle or feel objects* Stand and walk regularly* Communicate effectively through speech or written communication* Use vision abilities to inspect products and equipment* Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds* Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl* Regularly exposed to moderate noise level and moving mechanical parts
**Qualifications:** - Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, maintenance instructions, and manuals - Strong teamwork and communication skills with management and colleagues - Honest, reliable, and safety-conscious, adhering to OSHA and company safety policies - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks: using hands, reaching, standing, walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling - Vision capabilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment - Exposure to moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles as part of the work environment
