Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions is hiring Finishing Operators for one of our Manufacturing clients. These are long-term positions with great wages and benefits after getting hired on to the company permanently. Finishing Operators complete finishing operations, inspect & package products, and verify that the product meets quality & quantity standards set by the customer and the company for color, metrics, and registration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform set-up on multiple pieces of complex automated inspection and other equipment.
- Ensure proper validation sign-off of set-up completion prior to running a job
- Load product, press rolls, or other material into equipment
- Review recognized defects & remove or replace defects as required according to customer specification
- Prepare packaging materials including the making of boxes & printing labels
- Unload finished products and package products for shipping according to customer specification
- Prepare product for final inspection
- Operate manual pallet lifts/jacks & other lifting equipment as needed for material and product movement
- Troubleshoot & perform minor maintenance on equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- 6+ months experience in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude & ability to add, subtract, multiply, & divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals quickly & correctly
- Knowledge of other measuring units such as cup, pint, quart, inch, foot, yard, ounce, & pound
- Ability to accurately measure using various measurement tools
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and willingness to work with other team members and management
- Must possess a strong work ethic, honesty, reliability, and have a good attitude regarding work
- Must be safety conscious & comply with all general safety policies & procedures in accordance with all Company, State, & Federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) rules & regulations
- Must be able to regularly use hands and reach above & below shoulder level
- Must be able to stand & walk for 10-12 hours during a shift
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/move up to 50 lbs.
- 1st shift Mon-Thurs 6 AM- 4:30 PM
2nd shift Mon-Thurs 4:30 PM-3 AM
3rd shift Fri-Sun 5 AM -5 PM
