Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the preventative maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, as well as assist with special projects across manufacturing and support departments.Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the preventative maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, as well as assist with special projects across manufacturing and support departments.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems and industrial equipment.
- Manage and coordinate contractors for facility-related projects including general maintenance, repairs, landscaping, snow removal, glass cleaning, and security system checks.
- Submit and manage work orders, delegating tasks effectively to the maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot facility issues and oversee necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Conduct regular checks and perform maintenance on key facility systems, including replacing HVAC filters, pumps, motors, fans, and light bulbs.
- Order replacement parts and ensure timely repair or replacement of equipment as needed.
- Handle removal of hazardous waste, process waste, and residual solid waste in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow and enforce all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), lockout/tagout procedures, and confined space entry.
- Support administrative tasks and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.
- Positive, adaptable, and service-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certified forklift driver (training available).
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs and SCADA systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Associate degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or SCADA technology preferred.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours during shifts.
- Comfortable working in hot or cold environments, both indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Regular physical activity required, including kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
- Exposure to mechanical/moving parts, dust, odors, noise, and other industrial elements.
