Job Description

 IMKO’s fast-paced food production Client has an opening for a Document Control Specialist.      This position requires communication skills, computer skills, and will work closely with the FSQA. Document Control Specialist will maintain all records and documentation related to the FSQA.  This is a 1st shift opportunity.  Document Control Specialist Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to: 
  1. Organize, maintain and track controlled documents related to FSQA processes, including food safety protocols, regulatory compliance records, and quality assurance procedures.  
  2. Ensure all documents align with USDA, FDA and other regulatory requirements.
  3. Maintain records for audits, inspections, and certifications such as HACCP and SQF.
  4. Regularly review FSQA documentation for accuracy and completeness to meet GFSI standards.
  5.  Assist in preparing documentation for internal audits, third party inspections and regulatory reviews.
  6. Support the recall communication process by ensuring accurate documentation is available. 
  7. Other Duties as assigned. 
Qualifications 
  1. HS Diploma or equivalent: Bachelor’s degree in food science, Business Admin or related field
  2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in document control within FSQA or Food Manufacturing environment
  3. Strong Organizational skills with high attention to detail
  4. Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft office suite
