Job Summary
As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee the accounting team and ensure the timely and accurate completion of all financial reporting
- Develop and implement effective budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient financial systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal control best practices
- Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters. The work environment is professional and fast-paced, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
