Job Description

 Our industrial client in the Siouxland area has opened a position for a Service Tech to assist with Computer assemble projects.  Having computer repair or IT experience is helpful.  There will be  LIFTING up to 45 -60 pounds  Required, often  in the  day.  Hours will be: Days: Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  Service Tech Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to: 
  1. Diagnose malfunctions of computer hardware for the purpose of determining the appropriate parts needed for the repair of the computer
  2. Orders necessary parts via multiple vendor websites, adhering to the policies and procedures specific to each one.
  3. Knowledge of various tools and techniques involved in computer repair
  4. Ability to disassemble and assemble a wide variety of computers for repair purposes
  5. Maintain accurate repair records using designated applications provided
  6. Participates in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse
  7. Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously
  8. LIFTING  boxes in warehouse -  Up to 75 pounds 
  9. Ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis
  10. Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
  11. Ability to perform data collection and recording

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Sitting for extended periods of time in a climate controlled office environment.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be very detail oriented
  • Extended periods of time utilizing hand tools needed to repair computers.
  • Able to move quickly to meet warehouse demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs. repetitively
