We are seeking a dependable Commercial Cleaning Team Lead to oversee a cleaning crew while helping maintain clean, safe, and professional commercial spaces. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable providing direction and keeping a team on task.Responsibilities
- Lead and provide daily direction to cleaning crew members
- Serve as a key holder and ensure assigned facilities are properly secured
- Assign cleaning duties and ensure work is completed thoroughly and on schedule
- Clean offices, restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, and other commercial spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and empty trash
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform quality checks and address areas needing additional attention
- Communicate with management regarding staffing, maintenance concerns, or other issues
- Help train and support new team members
- Follow and reinforce established safety and cleaning procedures
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Dependable and comfortable with key-holder responsibilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to give direction and keep a team productive
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently while also leading a team
