IMKO Workforce Solutions in Sedalia, MO is hiring for temp to full time positions located in Concordia, MO. Shifts are day shift (5AM-3:30PM) and night shift (3PM-1:30AM).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator-Blender to join our team. As a Blender, you will uphold Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP's) and will mix and blend products in a timely and efficient manner.  You will work as a team member to complete jobs. 
Duties:
  • Mixes or blends raw materials in accordance with specified formulas 
  • Examine work orders for special instructions, proper packaging components, and blending recipe 
  • Verify process order to actual formula for accuracy 
  • Sets up and runs blenders efficiently and safely 
  • Measure, weigh and document ingredients in Plex 
  • Assist other blending operators with product changeovers and loading of blender 
  • Makes adjustments and performs minor machine maintenance as necessary 
  • Responsible for product quality while maintaining company standards and processes. 
  • Perform boxes and bags palletizing, assemble  boxes 
  • Use forklift to move product in and out of blending room 
  • Keep work area sanitary and orderly 
  • Keep Blending Team Leader informed of problems, potential issues and status of work in progress 
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures and rules at all times 
  • Sanitation of blending area and equipment 
  • Follow all GMP’s, Safety and Environmental regulations as well as company policies 
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned 

Position Qualifications: Minimum:   
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Minimum of one (1+) plus year manufacturing experience, preferably in a batch maker, mixer, or blender role 
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs 
  • Experience working on a team to complete a job 
  • Must be familiar with computers and have at least 1 year experience 
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
Preferred: 
  • High School Diploma 
  • Experience working in a dry food manufacturing environment 
  • 2+ years working on a computer (Microsoft Suite, Google)
