Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Maintain accurate financial records and prepare journal entries.
- Manage general ledger transactions and accounting documentation.
- Process Accounts Payable and assist with Accounts Receivable.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and bill payments.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping and financial documentation as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and support internal controls.
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with general office administrative tasks.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Previous accounting experience required.
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- $25.00–$35.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime available as business needs require.
