Job Description

IMKO is looking for an experienced Mold Setter for a manufacturer located in Columbia, MO.Shift: Monday-Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pmPay: $16/hour 
Job Description:Safely install molds and remove them from the injection molding machines. Install necessary water lines, knockout bars, hydraulic lines, air lines, switches, hoppers, dryers, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Promptly perform mold setup as required by production, while abiding by all current safety practices and procedures.
  • Verify all process parameters are correctly applied to press and auxiliary equipment.
  • Remove from the press area all hand tools, hoses, lines & miscellaneous items not required.
  • Remove any accumulated grease, oil, water, and/or fingerprint from the press & relative area before advising production of press readiness.
  • Help material handler as needed (if there are no tools to set).
  • Verify all mold bolts, clamps, water lines, knockouts, air lines, DME, and appropriate nozzle are applied and secure.
  • Fill out all required mold change paperwork.
  • Clean molds at the beginning of each shift.
  • Help keep machines and plant clean
Qualifications:
  • Have 6 months+ experience in mold setting.
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs. continuously.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Operate overhead crane.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test (Employer does NOT allow THC)
