Job Description

IMKO Pro is recruiting a 1st shift Production Supervisor to join a local Snyder, NE Manufacturer. Production Supervisor will drive operational execution of daily production for assigned areas while focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct daily assembly activities to meet or exceed established goals in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensure quality goals and objectives are met on a daily basis
  • Perform workflow analysis & develop improved methods for the Assembly team
  • Coordinate with managers & supervisors to establish assembly and quality control standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve all assemble-related customer issues
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, & programs to improve the safety, productivity, & profitability of Assembly team activities
  • Implement & maintain DOT/OSHA & Company programs & standards
  • Support safety programs to reduce accidents & injuries
  • Coordinate to address organizational needs, such as additional equipment & maintenance
  • Provide leadership, communication, and coaching to employees
  • Cultivate a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, & business ownership
  • Ensure that all assembly supplies are always on hand & available 
  • Prepare all required reports and correspondence as necessary
  • Manage expenses within approved budget constraints
  • Identify, document, & implement opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience showing proven leadership and business skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising & motivating subordinates
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to include projects & daily assembly workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, & a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work both independently & as a member of various teams & committees
  • Ability to use good judgement to make timely and sound decisions
  • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements

This is a direct hire position within our client company. Schedule is Four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday with some Friday mornings, on occasion. Salary is $70,000-$85,000. Apply today to confidentially discuss & to learn more.
