Job Description
IMKO Workforce Solutions in Omaha is urgently seeking a dedicated 1st, 2nd shift and 3rd shift Production Workers to join our team!
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Safety: Always prioritize safety by working cautiously, being aware of your surroundings, and adhering to Pratt Industries' safety rules and operating procedures. You are also expected to help hold colleagues accountable for safety and participate in the Plant Safety Committee.
Quality: Consistently follow Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and comply with Pratt Industries' quality procedures and policies. It is crucial to prevent poor quality products from reaching customers by identifying and addressing issues at the earliest stages of manufacturing. Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
Tasks and Flexibility: You will perform a variety of tasks within your assigned department and may be required to work in multiple areas of the plant on different projects and customer orders throughout the week. You are also responsible for general duties as required.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area during your shift and ensure it is thoroughly cleaned at the end of your shift. Additionally, please keep all shared employee areas, such as break rooms, bathrooms, and refrigerators, tidy.
Efficiency and Learning: Learn from Machine Operators about machine capabilities and capacities to help improve efficiencies, minimize waste, and reduce downtime. While striving for high efficiencies and minimal downtime, never compromise on quality. You will also learn job duties, setup times, and quality standards from Machine Operators and the Production Supervisor.
Cross-training: Be prepared to cross-train on various machines and learn other positions within the plant.
