Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining processes and be proficient in operating various types of machinery. This role involves fabricating precision components and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. The Machine Operator will work to produce parts according to specifications and blueprints.
Schedule: Night Shift 3:30PM - 12:00AM Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines, including lathes, to fabricate precision parts as per specifications.
  • Utilize CAM programming to create machining programs for production runs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform tooling changes and adjustments as necessary during production runs.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production workflows.
Skills
  • Proficiency in CNC operation and programming, particularly with Mazatrol systems.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Experience with hand tools for machining tasks and assembly processes.
  • Ability to fabricate components from various materials while adhering to quality standards.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills for interpreting complex technical drawings.
