Job Description

IMKO is recruiting a full-time Staff Account Receivable Assistant for a Long-Term position with a very fast-paced industrial business. Accounts Receivable Assistant is responsible for monitoring and managing accounts and billing. As a member of the accounting team, accuracy and efficiency are essential to completing tasks in a timely manner.   Accountant Receivable Assistant Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to: 
  1. Basic Computer Skills 
  2. Ability to interact with all staff members, coworkers, venders and customers with a pleasant demeanor 
  3. Attention to detail 
  4. Strong Communication both verbal and written skills 
  5. Data entry skills 
  6. Phone etiquette 
  7. Organize, mail and review tax exemptions for customers 
  8. Review customer credit limits   and restrictions on a case by case basis
  9. Maintain customer records 
  10. Assist with account receivable statements 
  11. Scan documents into the system 
  12. Restock printer, fax, copiers and other office machines with paper, let IT know when toner is low
  13. Vendor accounts reconciliation as assigned 
  14. Assist Account Payable Manager/ Controller as needed 
  15. Work with other departments with special projects 
  16. Other duties as assigned  
 Qualifications  
  1. HS diploma or GED. Office Exp a plus 
  2. The ability to communicate with all team members 
  3. Basic Math Skills, Calculate discounts, interest and percentages 
  4. Use a keyboard and a tenkey and adding machine 
  5.  Data Entry skills 
  6. High ethical and moral standards  
  7. Valid Driver’s License
